Pioneer Methodist minister in Colorado. Arrived Denver, Colo. 1859; returned to Nebraska in 1862. He is considered the "Father of Colorado Methodism" and credited with founding the first four Methodist churches in Colo. at Central City, Denver, Golden City, and Boulder City.
